PPWR Update – The Agreement between European Parliament & Council

As Head of Market Intelligence & Governmental Affairs at Landbell Group, Dr.-Ing. As an expert with more than 15 years of experience with extended producer responsibility (EPR) for packaging, waste electrical equipment and batteries, as well as over 20 years of experience in analyzing environmental legislation, he will explain in this webinar the contents of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), which is often mentioned in the media. He will discuss the current status of the EU regulation and the various new regulations it contains.

An important focus of the regulation is on waste reduction, including some bans and the newly created, largely harmonized requirements for reuse, recyclable packaging, the use of recyclates and the labeling of packaging. The new regulation will replace the current EU Packaging Directive.
