Your packaging is our responsibility

We help you meet all the requirements of the Circular Economy Act

Through the Circular Economy Act and the Packaging Act, manufacturers and distributors are obliged to collect, sort, and recycle their packaging.

As the second dual scheme in Germany, we support you with packaging takebacks, giving you more time to focus on building and growing your business.

The challenge? Compliance costs companies an enormous amount of time. There’s also a risk of legal difficulties and penalties in the event of non-compliance.

The solution: an international partner with certified expertise.

  • Benefit from our household-oriented collection, sorting and recycling of sales packaging pursuant to the Packaging Act.
  • Receive an annual confirmation of your participation in our dual scheme – based on quantity and type of material.
  • Let us handle the review of your declaration of completeness.
  • Save time with our simple and transparent billing service.
  • Fulfil the prescribed takeback obligation with our legally secure, reliable and customised service packages.
  • Assign your new obligations for packaging not subject to system participation to us.
  • Gain insight with our comprehensive consulting services. We will gladly support you with certified testing and optimisation of your packaging’s recyclability.

What does the Packaging Act regulate?

The Packaging Act (VerpackG) applies to those who place packaging filled with goods and intended for consumers on the market – including filling material. Online retailers are included.

The principle of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) applies. This means that anyone who puts filled packaging into circulation must handle its return and recycling.
